Dear Assistant Vice-President:

I am writing to discuss Student Affairs policymaking.  Soon it will be time to appoint a new Vice-President for Student Affairs.  I’m sure that you would agree that now is an appropriate time to evaluate the role that Student Affairs plays in fostering leadership.  

I would like to propose a forum on Student Affairs philosophy and administration.

This forum would benefit not only the student body, but also the administration, as they would gain greater insight on how student needs have changed in recent years.  It would also prime the OVPSA for their new Vice-President.

Several SGA executives, other student leaders, and students from the College of Education are interested in participating in this proposed forum.  I will contact you soon to discuss what is necessary to initiate this process.
