SGA RESOLUTION 6-01

SGA President

THE STUDENT BODY OF THE UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA THROUGH ITS ELECTED MEMBERS OF THE STUDENT SENATE ASSEMBLED DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:

Whereas, the Student Advisory Council is the organization that encompases all of the
thirty-four public-state institutions in Georgia; and
Whereas, the University of Georgia Student Government Association has been an active
participant in the SAC Conference held quarterly; and
Whereas, there is an institution that serves as the host to all the schools in the academic

year; and

Whereas, in Jekyll Island our government and institution was selected to be the host for the twenty-fifth annual, one-hundredth conference meeting, November 5-7, 1993

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Student Body of the University of Georgia through its elected members of the Student Senate does hereby recognize the need to expand and improve our government in order to continue the growth for better service to our students; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that our government and institution has hosted a conference before and is capable with its committed elected members to again host the Student Advisory Council Fall Conference.
